Divine agents
The gods work in mysterious ways, and so too do their clerics. They are expert healers with a long array of other miracles and occasional smites, all to act out the will of the god they tied themself to.

Nature's voices
Natures is a vast, beautiful, and powerful thing. Druids serve, revere, and protect it. Their natural magic can both inflict the fury of a forest fire and imbue the healing powers of a natural spring.

Druids have no overarching key ability, instead having varied subclasses and additional resilience.

Cursed magic
The gods work in mysterious ways. Oracles understand this well, as they are (often unwillingly) at the centre of several conflicting divine energies. They suffer an incurable curse that grants esoteric knowledge and divine magic as it stresses body and mind alike.
Oracular curse
Oracles have bigger focus points to use for spells, but using these strengthens the curse befalling the oracle, causing both benefits and drawbacks.

Innate talent

Otherworldly power
Witches gain strength through the favour of a mysterious otherworldly patron. With access to unique and strange magics as well as a familiar companion from their benefactor, they make powerful spellcasters.

Witches prepare spells from a familiar, who doubles as a spellbook and has unique combat functionality.
Hex cantrips
Through their patrons, each witch can cast a unique single-action spell.

Arcane academics
Wizards are scholars of the arcane, seeking to understand and develop magic and as a science. Though they slacked in many other areas, their spellcasting skills are nothing short of impressive when used well.

Wizards gain additional limited spells per day, based on what branch of magic they studied.
Drain bonded item
Drain power invested into an item you hold dear, recovering any one spent spell once per day.

The toolkit of alchemists is shockingly vast and diverse. While perhaps meek in raw power, their unique and varied concoctions score points by sheer diversity and reliability.

Summoner

Two-in-one
Summoners have their souls tightly bound to a powerful spirit called an Eidolon. Whether this companion is a small dragon or a vengeful ghost, it and the summoner live and die as a unit, sharing health and actions.

When one of the two takes actions, the other can take a single action for free, often giving the summoner four actions to work with per round instead of three.

Raw violence
Sometimes, the simplest solution is the best one. If brute force and violence are the question, then the barbarian is the answer. Few foes can match their sheer physique and raw strength.
Rage
The barbarian locks themself out of actions requiring mental focus for the fight in exchange for additional damage, durability, and powers depending on their subclass and feats.

Devoted and enduring
Holy warriors restricted and empowered by their oaths, champions are the dams that hold back the tides of evil (or good). Though their focus lies in protecting others, they have many ways to smite back.

Supercharge devices across your body to try enhancing attacks.
Explode
Cause a powerful explosion from your main invention that risks mildly damaging it and you.

Investigator

Investigators wield knowledge as their weapon. They are experts in solving riddles, noticing every detail, and chasing leads with various skills. A fight is just another problem to solve.

Mentally play out and roll an attack with extra damage, then choose whether to execute it.

Supreme skills
In a world of monsters and magic, rogues find their niche in practice and finesse. Jack of all trades and master of many, they thrive when they can exploit weaknesses or show off their talents.

Rogues advance in skills about twice as fast as most other classes.

Swashbucklers turn combat into a dance: darting between foes, harrassing, dodging, and countering them at every step. They specialize in varying disciplines to gain an edge in and out of combat.

When executing certain maneuvers based on subclass, gain panache for bonus speed and damage. Panache can be spent on powerful finishing moves.

You read to exploit a creature's damage type weakness, creating one yourself if needed.
